What an incredible Holiday Fundraiser!
From Candy Grams to Minecraft, Pies to Jewels, and generous individual donations, we are so thankful for all the support this holiday season!
Every October, our Student Government begins their planning for our annual Sub4Santa Fundraiser. Officers plan out our donation goal, organize our checkpoint rewards, plan the Holiday Assembly, and coordinate dress up days for students and teachers! This year, they also added festive Hallway decorations and a Holiday Door decorating MATS competition!
The day before Thanksgiving break all our leadership groups decorated each of the pod hallways to really bring the festive spirit to life! Student Government, Cheer, Hope Squad, MAC, PTSA, and NJHS all designed and decorated their assigned pods before leaving for the holiday! This ensured the second everyone came to school Monday morning were surrounded by holiday magic!
With our Halls decked in Holiday cheer, we were ready for holiday kick off!
Our incredible Music Department shared their talents by performing their holiday music for us. The vibes were high and the holiday spirit was flowing!
During our assembly, Thunder Rumble points were awarded for different games and all week, grades earned points for dressing up! 7th Grade dominated in the dress up category and 8th grade won the most points during the assembly!
Mr Chiba brought the holiday fun with a new donation idea! He took to gaming and had students donate to sabotage or help him succeed in a game of Minecraft! It was awesome to see students get excited to help or hurt like they do watching twitch or youtube!
Week 2 kicked off with our teachers dressing up as Christmas Trees! Then the donations really started to come in as we had Leadership Pie-ing, Teacher Pie-ing, Bejewel-a-Teacher, and some last minute pizza sales!
Friday was our BIGGEST donation day and we could not be more thankful for the support!
All funds raised went towards providing Christmas for those in our community that aren't able to do it on their own. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact this holiday season.
