Well hey there! I am so excited to get started this year and I can't wait to meet you all!
I grew up in Davis County my whole life and I love this beautiful place!
I graduated from Woods Cross High School where I fell in love with teaching and helping others.
I majored in Psychology and minored in Math at Weber State University and graduated in 2015. I did my student teaching at Syracuse High School where I taught 10th grade Math and Intro Psychology. Being there got me so excited to finally have my own classroom and inspire young minds for many years to come.
My first year of teaching, I taught 9th grade Math and I loved watching students grow in the little team we made. I then had the great opportunity to be a substitute in the Davis School District where I got to meet so many different students and explore many classrooms - making me even more excited for the next chapter.
Now, here we are at Centennial Junior High and I can't be more excited. This is my third year here and it is truly one of the best schools in the district! We have great students and great faculty that all make every day so much fun!
I hope I can inspire my students and help them see that they can conquer all the obstacles that may come their way. Math is in everything we do and teaches us amazing Critical Thinking Skills that can be used in all aspects of life. If we can do that, we can do anything!
So, let's grab life by the horns and have the best time ever!
